求本远志

The University logo is round with blue as the key. The logo is surrounded by the name of the school in both Chinese and English. The core part of the logo is the internationally popular shield pattern, which consists of the Chinese character "Zhong" and the variants of the initial letters "C, M, U" of "Chinese Medical University", reflecting the attributes, characteristics and philosophy of the University. Between the Chinese and English name and the shield pattern are the leaves of Yuanzhi and character "Ben", meaning "Seek the Origin at High Aspiration".1953 is the year when the University was founded.
