"China-Romania TCM Center"(CRTCMC), jointly organized by Zhejiang Chinese Medical University and Vasile Goldis Western University of Arad（VGWUA） was approved by National Administration of TCM. A grand launch ceremony of CRTCMC was held on December 10^th, 2019 in Arad County Hospital.

Since 2018, under the cooperation framework of CRTCMC, ZCMU and VGWUA have actively carried out TCM exchanges and cooperation.They exchange 2 student groups and 5 doctors totally within 2 years. From February to August in 2020, Dr. Li Xiao from the third affiliated hospital was sent to carry out clinical acupuncture and massage services in Romania. He cured more than 1,200 patients in half a year.

As for scientific research cooperation, ZCMU and VGWUA jointly applied for an inter-governmental scientific and technological project of "Design and innovation of anti-liver fibrosis plant and natural products delivery system for chronic liver diseases" in 2018. There exists a botanical garden on the outskirts of Arad, where grows plants from all over the world for cooperative research on the cultivation of Chinese herbs. As for cultural activities, "Medical holistic therapy and TCM Seminar" "Academic Symposium on Integrated TCM and Western Medicine" "Zhejiang TCM Culture Exhibition" were held by CRTCMC.
