    Recently, the “Zhejiang’s Modern Traditional Chinese Medicine Industry Patent Navigation Service Base”, undertaken by Zhejiang Chinese Medical University (ZCMU) Fuyang Institute, has been officially approved by the Administration for Market Regulation of Zhejiang Province and established in Fuyang District. The base is not only the first provincial patent navigation service base in Fuyang District but also the only Modern Traditional Chinese Medicine Industry Patent Navigation Service Base in Zhejiang Province.



    Patent navigation, as an innovative application model of patent information, centers on patent data and deeply integrates various data resources to provide precise guidance for regional industrial planning and the innovative development of enterprises. As a professional service platform that promotes the efficient transformation of patent navigation results, the base plays a significant role in strengthening the creation, utilization, protection, and management of intellectual property.

    ZCMU Fuyang Institute will take the construction of the base as an opportunity. It is based in Hangzhou and radiates the modern traditional Chinese medicine industry across Zhejiang province. To assist in the high-quality development of the modern traditional Chinese medicine industry, it will regularly release patent navigation results, and provide patent navigation policy and functional services, including standard promotion, project implementation and promotion, public decision-making and research consultation, patent information services, and open data usage. It will focus on the industrial segments of TCM great health, innovative drug research and development, and digital medical health, organize and implement patent navigation projects, and actively promote and effectively apply relevant patent navigation results and tools.
