    News|ZCMU Wen Chengping and Zhang Yun Team Reveals Novel Immune Imbalance Mechanism in SLE

    Recently, the team led by Prof. Wen Chengping and Associate Researcher Zhang Yun from the ZCMU Provincial Key Laboratory of Rheumatism and Immunology of Zhejiang Province, Center for Innovation in Autoimmune Disease Pharmaceutical Basis, Ministry of Education, published a paper entitled Neddylation is a novel therapeutic target for lupus by regulating double negative T cell homeostasis in the internationally renowned academic journal Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy (Q1 Top Journal). This paper unveils the crucial mechanism by which neddylation regulates the development of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) for the first time, offering new potential therapeutic targets for SLE therapy.


    The study sheds light on the function of neddylation in SLE, providing new insights for SLE treatment. Ongoing research in this direction will offer a scientific foundation for TCM to restore the homeostasis of the autoimmune system by adjusting the balance of yin and yang.


    Zhejiang Chinese Medical University is the first affiliation and the first corresponding affiliation of this paper. Associate Researcher Zhang Yun, Dr. Du Lijun, and Ms. Wang Chenxi are the co-first authors of this paper. Prof. Wen Chengping, Prof. Lv Liwei, and Associate Researcher Huang Lin are the co-corresponding authors. In addition, Researcher He Zhixing and Researcher Xie Zhijun, students Jiang Zhangsheng, Duan Qingchi and Li Yiping, along with Prof. Sun Yi of Zhejiang University, have made significant contributions as co-authors.
