On December 28, Xu Zhifeng, CEO of New Zealand College of Chinese Medicine (NZCCM), and Feng Li, Principal of the NZCCM, the foreign contractors for the China-New Zealand Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Center, paid a visit to ZCMU. They were received by Chen Zhong, President of ZCMU, Wu Chengliang, Vice President of ZCMU, and other university officials.
During the meeting, the two parties focused on the upcoming phases of work for the China-New Zealand TCM Center. They engaged in in-depth discussions regarding mutual visits between teachers and students, the export of traditional Chinese medicine granules, and related products. Additionally, they exchanged views on the feasibility of cooperation in areas such as the establishment of overseas distribution centers for traditional Chinese medicine, the construction of health bases, and the development of new drugs.
Furthermore, Xu Zhifeng and Feng Li visited the cooperating company of ZCMU’s national characteristic service export base, Hangzhou Gan Zhi Cao Technology Co., Ltd. (Gancao Doctor). They experienced the new forms of business closely integrating “Internet Plus” with the traditional Chinese medicine and health industry. Both parties explored effective paths to expand traditional Chinese medicine service trade into broader fields by using the platform of ZCMU’s national characteristic service export base (traditional Chinese medicine), relying on the China-New Zealand TCM Center, making a breakthrough in traditional Chinese medicine-related health care products, and extending through the combination of “Internet plus” and traditional Chinese medicine. This aims to collectively bring out the full potential for the high-quality development of the China-New Zealand TCM Center.
