From December 3rd to 7th, the ZCMU National TCM Service Export Base attended the “2023 Zhejiang Service Trade (Russia) Traditional Chinese Medicine Health Exhibition”, hosted by the Department of Commerce of Zhejiang Province. Luo Weiming, Vice President of ZCMU, and Bao Lirong, Director of the ZCMU Social Cooperation Department, led several cooperative enterprises of the Base to showcase the development and achievements of Zhejiang TCM service trade.

During the exhibition, the delegation presented the infrastructure and development projects of the Base, alongside demonstrations of overseas education services, international medical treatments, and product R&D outcomes. According to incomplete statistics, throughout the event, ZCMU and the Base’s cooperative enterprises received over 2,400 visitors, disseminated more than 5,000 informational materials, and established cooperative intentions with over 10 organizations and enterprises.

On December 5th, the delegation visited St. Petersburg (China) Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. This company is the largest local institution integrating TCM diagnosis and treatment, healthcare services, and pharmaceutical sales. Vice President Luo Weiming introduced ZCMU and the TCM Service Export Base to Nikiforov Vladimir, the Head of the company. The discussions resulted in a mutual consensus to develop cooperation in the trade of TCM services and other areas.

The International Medical Exhibition in Moscow, Russia (ZDRAVOOKHRANENIYE) is the country’s largest comprehensive medical expo supported by Russia’s healthcare, manufacturing, and tourism-related government departments. It attracts manufacturers and professionals from various countries in the medical, health care, nursing, and medical equipment sectors. ZCMU’s participation in this exhibition has positively contributed to showcasing the Base’s excellent image, promoting the achievements in Zhejiang’s TCM service trade, and expanding partnerships and service trade markets in the northern Eurasian region.
