The National Press and Publication Administration recently approved that ZCMU international academic journal Clinical Traditional Medicine and Pharmacology, formerly known as Clinical Complementary Medicine and Pharmacology (ISSN 2772-3712), has been granted the China Serial Number CN 33-1427/R2, and a publishing license.

Clinical Traditional Medicine and Pharmacology is an English academic journal hosted by ZCMU and published online by Elsevier. The journal focuses on the field of Clinical Traditional Medicine and Pharmacology. Its core content revolves around publishing evidence-based research in clinical traditional medicine and pharmacology. In 2021, it was selected for the High Starting Point New Journals of Excellence Action Plan for China STM Journals. The journal has been officially indexed in databases such as DOAJ, CNKI, Dimensions, Ulrich’s Periodicals Directory, ScienceDirect, EBSCO Essentials, and EuroPub.
