ShanghaiRanking, a professional evaluation agency for higher education, released its 2023 Ranking of Chinese Medical Universities list on March 30th. ZCMU was ranked among the top 25% and came in 5th among the 24 universities of Chinese medicine for the second consecutive year. Moreover, it is the only one that is not part of the Double First-Class University Plan among the top 7 TCM universities.

In the Best Chinese Subjects Ranking 2022 released by ShanghaiRanking, ZCMU’s Chinese Medicine was ranked 5th; Chinese Pharmacy, 6th. Both of them were among the top 12% nationwide. In addition, according to the ESI data, ZCMU has 3 global top 1% subjects, among which Clinical Medicine and Pharmacology & Toxicology were among the global top 5‰.
