The Zhejiang Provincial Department of Education recently announced the list of provincial key construction experimental teaching demonstration centers and provincial off-campus practice education bases for college students of the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-2025). Five centers, including the “Acupuncture and Tuina Experimental Teaching Center,” have been established as provincial key construction experimental teaching demonstration centers. Besides, nine bases, including “Zhejiang Chinese Medical University- Hangzhou Fuyang Orthopaedics Hospital and Orthopedics Practice Education Base of TCM and Orthopedic Science,” have been listed as provincial off-campus practical education bases for college students.

In recent years, ZCMU has continually strengthened the work of educational practice, vigorously promoted the construction of intelligent laboratories, and improved experimental teaching conditions. It has also optimized the layout of practice teaching bases according to the needs of professional adjustment, increased medical education, science education, and industry education in collaboration, and built an experimental practice training teaching platform with intensive functions, shared resources, complete openness, and efficient operation and a first-class practice course system, to provide strong support for improving the quality of undergraduate training and developing ZCMU a first-class Chinese medicine university.
