Transfar Group hases tablished ZCMU Transfar Scholarship and the donation ceremony was heldon February 18 at ZCMUB in wen Campus. Xu Guanju, Chairman of Transfar, Lu Jun, amember of the Leading Party Group of the Standing Committee of the People’s Congress of Zhejiang Province and Secretary General of the Committee, Huang Wenxiu, Secretary of the Party Committee of ZCMU, Chen Zhong, ZCMU President, Prof. Liu Xiaozhong, President of the Institute of Ancient Chinese Medicine, Huang Jianbo, ZCMU Vice President, Huang Aijun and Ma Chongyang, members of the Party Committee of ZCMU, Huang Yuanyuan, Office Director of Transfar Group, Wang Fei, Secretary General of Transfar Charity Foundation, and otherheads of relevant departments of Transfar Group and ZCMU, teachers and students of the Liu Xiaozhong Apprentice Experimental Class, and the media attended the ceremony.

Xu Guanju introduced the development of Transfar Group, congratulated ZCMU on its achievements in revitalizing Chinese medicine, and recognized the achievements of Liu Xiaozhong Apprentice Experimental Class. Xu Guanju said that Transfar adhered to the corporate culture of "enterprise development is rooted in society; Transfar never forgets its roots," and has established Transfar Charity Foundation devoted to charity projects for the needy, medical personnel, students, etc. Transfar hoped that this donation would promote the cultivation of the students of the Liu Xiaozhong Apprentice Experimental Class, and expected to participate in more charity undertakings together with the teachers and students to make greater contributions to public welfare.

Huang Wenxiu expressed his gratitude to Transfar for supporting the TCM education of ZCMU, and made a brief introduction to ZCMU and Liu Xiaozhong Apprentice Experimental Class. Huang said that ZCMU would take this donation as an opportunity to expand the cooperation with Transfar to cultivate high-quality TCM talents in the new era, strive to build a Zhejiang model of TCM apprenticeship education and accelerate the construction of a higher-class TCM university.

Chen Zhong pointed out that the establishment of ZCMU Transfar Scholarship for outstanding students was not only recognition and support for the TCM apprenticeship education and TCM talent training of ZCMU, but also the care and encouragement to the students of Liu Xiaozhong Apprentice Experimental Class. He hoped that the students could apply themselves to facilitate TCM development.

Liu Xiaozhong extended his appreciation forTransfar’s donation. He said that the apprenticeexperimental class was an ewexploration to deepen TCM education reform andis of great significance to the cultivation of high-level TCM professionals. The experimental class would make the best use of the donation and make deeper, more detailed, and more practical education reform to contribute to the inheritance and innovation of Chinese medicine, and the development of Zhejiang Province intoanational demonstration regionfor comprehensive reform of Chinese medicine.

Lin Xiuqi, the student representative of the experimental class, said that the students would exert themselves to learn theoretical knowledge and treatment methods of Chinese medicine to live up to the expectations and play a role in TCM development.

Wang Fei and Bao Lirong, Chairman of ZCMU Education Foundation, signed the agreement in the ceremony.

Wang Fei delivered a check of 1 million RMB to Huang Jianbo, and Huang gave Wang a donation certificate and commemorative plate.

After the ceremony, the attendees visited the Liu Xiaozhong Apprentice Experimental Class and Zhejiang Traditional Chinese Medicine Museum.
