Three more hospitals, Dongyang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Lanxi People’s Hospital, and Yongkang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, became ZCMU’s teaching hospitals. ZCMU Vice President Huang Jianbo, Dongyang City Vice Mayor Xu Yuyang, Dongyang Health Administration Director Lou Jiehua, Lanxi City Vice Mayor Shan Linglin, Lanxi Health Administration Director Lan Feng, and Yongkang Health Administration Director Xu Xiaowei attended the signing and unveiling ceremony.
The signing started a new chapter of medicine-teaching coordination and mutual development for the hospitals and ZCMU, according to Huang Jianbo. He stated that ZCMU would strengthen its guidance on the hospitals’ teaching and give more impetus to their talent cultivation. He also hoped that ZCMU and the hospitals could capitalize on their advantages and further in-depth and extensive collaboration in talent cultivation, discipline construction, technology innovation, social services, etc., thus contributing more to the development of TCM.
Xu Yuyang congratulated on Dongyang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine being a teaching hospital of ZCMU and hoped that the hospital could grasp the opportunity to make full use of ZCMU’s quality resources and strive to provide a model for other hospitals to follow and promote the development of TCM in Dongyang.
Shan Linglin noted that ZCMU placed Lanxi People’s Hospital on a higher platform for development and added momentum for the health service development in Lanxi. The hospital should take advantage of this opportunity to build a talent cultivation base and high-level scientific innovation platform, thus facilitating the medical services in Lanxi.
Xu Xiaowei expected Yongkang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine to improve its clinical teaching administration, talent cultivation, and teaching and research level by virtue of ZCMU disciplines and talents. In this way, the hospital could quicken its pace towards a Grade III Level A hospital and play a greater role in safeguarding the health of Yongkang people.
